Minor in Orchestral Performance and Literature

In-depth exploration of orchestral performance and literature

This Minor is aimed at students who wish to become a professional orchestral musician. In addition to their Major studies, the Minor also covers the orchestra repertoire (orchestral passages and projects) and provides students with the opportunity to take part in ensemble projects. Students study orchestra-specific subjects alongside their Major studies. Once a year, students take part in an intensive rehearsal exercise led by experienced orchestral musicians.
